Sr. Helene Metes
For 50 years I have been a Franciscan Sister. Those years have been primarily in food service, food service management, supervision of grounds, gardens and greenhouse, assisting with many fund raising events and many other hands-on projects. I served at St. Ann Infirmary, Cardinal Stritch College, a soup kitchen in Kentucky, St. Coletta of Wisconsin and St. John's Villa in Carrollton, Ohio. Many years I worked directly with mentally challenged adults in day programs. I am pleased to be a support to St. Ann Intergenerational center.
