Our Passion and Commitment
At St. Ann Center the childcare teachers are care about your child's happiness. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing environment. Our teachers are dedicated to developing each child's potential. We are committed to providing the best "home away from home" care possible.

Teacher to Student Ratios

We keep our teacher-to-student ratios low to allow teachers to focus on the individual needs of each child.

What is Intergenerational?
Daily intergenerational activities promote mutual understanding and respect between our youngest and our older members of our community. Most importantly, the activities are a lot of fun!

This means we are fortunate to have both children and adults within the same facility. Children and adults are frequently in contact with one another throughout the day. They learn from one another and grow together, overcoming the generational gap. The presence of children brings a sparkle to the eyes of many adults who live in settings isolated from children. The sights and sounds of children also serve to counter memory loss.

The children are able to learn how people who are aging or have disabilities are a part of our lives. Creative, intergenerational activities are spontaneous as well as planned by an intergenerational activities coordinator. Intergenerational Activities.

Swimming
We offer a beautiful indoor warm water swimming pool that is available to all children 1 year or older. The daycare children have the opportunity to swim on a weekly basis. These swim times are used to help the children become accustomed to the water and learn water safety - they are not learn-to-swim classes, although, Learn-to-swim classes are offered through our outreach programs. Please see the Aquatic Center for more information about our learn-to-swim classes.

Music Therapy
Music therapy is available to all clients at St. Ann Center at no additional cost.  A certified Music Therapist enjoys music time with all the children on a regular basis.  Music Therapy is a unique and creative way to respond to the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social needs of individuals of all ages.
