A It is an intergenerational Center offering health and wellness day services to people of all ages and abilities.
Q Are you a nursing home?
A No, we are a day services facility. Everyone goes home at the end of the day, except guests in our overnight
Q What do you mean by intergenerational?
A We accept clients of all ages and abilities, and offer daily activities that bring them together because we believe the young, differently-abled and frail elderly can positively
benefit from spending time together.
Q What are the ages of the children you accept?
A Our child day care accepts children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. It also offers a before and after school program, as well as a summer camp program. W-2 funding is available for children ages 6-12.
Q Can I come to day services only 1 or 2 days a week?
A Yes, you can come any number of days in a given week, Monday through Friday. The schedule can be flexible and allows drop-ins.
Q Do you provide overnight respite care?
A Yes, our center provides 24-hour overnight respite care from one to twenty days as needed, providing relief for caregivers.

A No, we are closed on all major holidays and weekends, except for the

Q Are your day services affordable?
A It’s an established fact–day services are more affordable than nursing homes, and allow people to live in their own homes as long as possible.
Q How much does it cost to attend
A The cost for full day services is $51-$62 a day, based on the level of care needed. The child day care costs vary depending on the age of the child.
Q Do you accept insurance?
A We accept Medicare, Medicaid, Title 19, private insurance and private pay. Not all programs are covered by Medicare or Medicaid, but government assistance is available to those who qualify. The Center also offers a sliding fee schedule. Most
private insurance plans do not cover the cost of day care,
but therapies may be covered.
Q What is Adopt-A-Life?
A Adopt-A-Life is a funding program available to those under 60 on the disability services wait list. It currently provides 100% of the cost of day services for 1 day a week for individuals who cannot afford the cost of care.
Q What type of therapy do you offer?
A We offer physical, occupational, speech and restorative therapies. As part of our daily programming we also offer massage, as well as individual and group music and art therapies.
Q Do you offer transportation?
Q Do you have a nurse on duty?
A Yes, we have a full-time Registered Nurse and LPN on duty every day.
Q Do you provide meals?
A Yes, we have a full-service kitchen that prepares homemade meals and snacks daily. If the children arrive early they can receive breakfast.
Q Can you meet special dietary needs?
A Yes, our kitchen creates special meals for individual clients based on dietary needs. We also provide tube feeding with the order from the doctor.
Q Do you have a pool?
A Yes, our wheelchair-accessible pool is kept at 88˚ and the Aquatic program offers private, family-friendly changing areas.
It is open to the public and offers a full schedule of events.
Q Are you open to the public?
A Yes, all our services are available to the public. Organizations can use our facility for meetings, families can rent it for special occasions, and we host holiday events open to the public.
