Massage Therapy may be used as therapy for an injury or chronic pain as well as for relaxation and stress management. At St. Ann Center we professionally assess your needs and provide a customized massage therapy session for stress reduction, rejuvenation or recuperation using one of the following methods:
Swedish massage uses stroking and gliding hand pressure to relieve stress, decrease muscle tension and increase circulation. It is a good overall massage for all ages and abilities.
Lymphatic massage is a technique used to help release toxins from the body, enhance the immune system and reduces tissue swelling. It addresses the lymphatic system rather than the muscles, tendons and joints; therefore, the pressure used is very light. This massage is gentle and deeply restful.
Pregnancy Massage is designed to relieve the discomforts of pregnancy (i.e., swollen ankles, sciatica, headaches). An adapted bolster is used to allow for a comfortable massage. Pregnancy massage has also been proven to aid in the relaxation of labor.
Infant Massage is a natural way to promote infant health and strengthen family bonds. It incorporates nurturing touch and massage. Within our workshops parents and caregivers learn the benefits and techniques personalized to meet the needs of your child. Session fee includes instruction and a 10 page manual.
Reiki is a gentle hands-on healing art, which reconnects you with your ability to heal yourself. It helps reduce stress, balance emotions, and facilitates personal healing and spiritual growth.
Raindrop Therapy is a detoxifying treatment that includes essential oils that are massaged on the feet and spine. Very beneficial in warding off potentially damaging viruses and bacteria. Also relieves discomforts caused by imbalance in the body.
Cellular Release Therapy is a life changing therapy that assists in reprogramming your cellular and DNA memory to help in the release of trauma, fear, judgments and negative beliefs.
