St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care is unique among child and adult day care facilities. Our RN and LPNs on staff provide compassionate skilled nursing services to all clients enrolled at St. Ann Center. Besides experience in geriatric care, our nurses have the skill and knowledge to provide a full range of nursing care to clients of all ages and abilities

While on full-time duty Monday through Friday our nurses:

• Offer a continuity of care through consultation with physicians, health care facilities, social agencies, and caregivers concerning clients’ condition and treatment

• Review individual care plans based on nursing needs as ordered by the physician

• Provide nursing assessments, reports and charting

• Distribute medications as prescribed by the physician

• Provide insulin injections to clients and hepatitis vaccinations to staff as needed

• Perform insulin tests using the glucometer

• Provide blood-pressure tests

• Read TB skin tests

• Provide emergency assessment and assistance as needed

• Implement programs and supervise nursing students
